The event has ended now and though she intended in the beginning to open up a new one, the idea is now canceled.
Because it firstly made her loosing the joy of drawing and secondly some of the her customers apparently try to get around paying.
And this is the worst.
Commissions are supposed to be fun for customers and sellers. Sellers do what they like and get a little extra money for it, customers get the chance to achieve a picture of their likings drawn by an artist they favor and meanwhile do something good to them.
at least that's my point of view.
Commissions are supposed to be honest D=
Ain't it great to know >hey, there are people liking my art and my style so much, they'd pay for it<?
this is something to make you happy and grateful, so that you really want to give your best for that person.
On the other hand, ain't it great to know >There's my (eg) OC drawn by an artist I like, with this style I adore and this is a picture drawn for only me"
Isn't this special anymore?
You can buy bunches of pretty pictures in the streets of big cities, yet commissions convey something so personal.
At least I don't see them as only business.
But, maybe I'm oversensitive about that
I just like the thought of artist and appreciator getting in touch
I dunno how many of you could agree to my opinion but I'm now actually very happy that I have written this somewhere x//D
oh and since it really fits in here, my commission info
